Introduction
While those arrested may be released, those who have died will never return to life. FromJanuary to September 2026, a nine-month period, there were 107 airstrikes and 36 artilleryshellings in Kyaikto and Bilin townships, resulting in 25 civilian deaths and 56 injuries. RICEresearchers are closely monitoring the military conflict in southern Myanmar. Based on thefindings from this research, this report will provide an in-depth academic analysis of thebattle-related information and civilian casualties that occurred in September across a total of14 townships in Mon State and its adjacent areas in southern Myanmar.
