MSFC: Pioneering the Future of Mon State Governance


The Mon State Federal Council (MSFC) emerged from the transformation of the Mon State Interim Coordination Council (MSICC) during a pivotal conference convened on January 21st and 22nd of 2023. Evolving into a multi-faceted governing body, the MSFC embodies the structure of executive, legislative, and judiciary branches like traditional governmental frameworks.

Within the MSFC’s executive arm, ten departments oversee various administrative functions, ranging from defense and home affairs to education, health, humanitarian aid, and more. Noteworthy among them are departments managing land resources, external relations, finance, and taxation, showcasing the broad scope of the council’s authority.
