Peace Analysis of September

On February 1st of 2021, the military (SAC- State Administrative Council) seized the power from the democratically elected government, while Myanmar was still in the process of strengthening democracy and restoring peace within the state. After that many uprisings continuously occurred in entire country. Although SAC is using different strategies in fighting People Defense Forces (PDFs) that emerge throughout the country, and the pre-existing Ethnic Resistance Organization (EROs), they still cannot control the state effectively. On the other hand, SAC is holding peace talks while the military troops are still oppressing resistance forces in the battle fields. This paper is going to analyze the situation of peace talks while how the SAC military troops are violating human rights and committing war crimes on the ground, highlighting data related to conflict, and how the international community responds to the Myanmar crisis.
